Radical ways of living in Eastern Europe, Food Not Bombs and the politics of starving,

We've talked about this a lot and I wish I could have started one in A'dam with you all..hopefully will be beginning a new chapter in Sofia, Bulgaria..
BUT I found this that may be of interest to you all -

http://www.foodnotbombs.net/HOLLAND.html

There seems to be many groups.
Will try to begin one here but fear that it will be extremely difficult. But many things of worth have this quality. Voila.

But more..I wanted to ask all of you for your thoughts ..
It's incredibly difficult to skip dive here. The gypsies and elderly get everything in an instant.

help me get acoss the water

hello family

Maarten and i are upset at not being able to get visas for pakistan, its a pitty but thats the way it is.
so we must find other ways to get around the country and get to india. goin to central asia is one option but the visas are very expensive (im poor) and its just about winter so cycling over them mountains wont be too easy if its even possible at all.
so we have chosen to go south. we can take a cheap boat to dubai no problem and have friends to stay with there, then we will cycle to oman.

Casa crew Unite

Casa crew Unite

Lily, Bobby and George unite as Casa crew in Palo Alto, California. George and I rode down from San Francisco on a beautiful sunny afternoon, and met Bobby at his sweet new share-house co-opy(ish) in Palo Alto.

George also delivered a lightfoot letter that had been doing the rounds for at least a year. SO exciting to get it!! thanks Robin!!

The bloodclots will get you in the end, II

To all who have passed through casa, or will do, or have ideas,

This is a follow-up to this http://casarobino.org/2010/09/bloodclots-will-get-you-end

Listen, I appreciate so much the inspiration and ideas of others when it comes to this. I've been travelling and moving too long and need to settle down for a while. I need an apartment to share with another, and space enough to invite friends and strangers into our place.
I believe I need money for this. As absurd as the concept is for paying for a little box of space. I need this space.
And I have no skills but for my writing.

Keep on Moving

Back since a week! A great place to come back to, casa. The list to explain why is long. I am always surprised to see what changed, and always come back to the same conclusion: it is similar like before, but also different. And this time, it has certainly 'matured'! I am really thankful to all who keep this place moving further...

So, I found this poster just now that I wanted to share, without going sentimental. The text is known by some of you maybe, but the poster I had never seen before. No clue where it comes from, and who made it...

hıtchıngscool

We had to wait some weeks to have everything in order for our İranian visas, so we decided to go hitchhiking to Georgia.

Location:
departing from Overtoom 301, Amsterdam

Latest info on tomorrow's zombie walk follows:

Dear friends of the Amsterdam Rebel Clowns,

C(l)o(w)nfusion all over the place next Saturday, Oct 30th: a manifestation of EDL (European Defence League) racists will gather in the middle of nowhere (Westelijk Havengebied, Generatorstraat), Ajax football fans and other people will give them a warm welcome, people will protest against xenophobia near the Dokwerker (Jonas Daniël Meijerplein) and groups of Antifascists will try to keep the city as clean as possible...

Looking for: Bike parts and hitchhikers heading east

My friend Stanislav is driving back from Amsterdam to Latvia this week, and he has some extra space in his van.

He'd love to fill up the van (that says "hitchhiker's friendly") with hitchhikers and bicycle parts.

So if you know someone heading east or if you can give them some bike parts. He's totally into freak bikes, and he's living in a house where they also are setting up a free bicycle work shop.
