Lets stop throwing out last nights dinner.

We should start sharing recipes for leftover foods, For example, the other day Martina made a wonderful lunch out of our previous nights dinner of cous cous and baked vegtables by adding eggs, and frying it. Or how about baking left over pasta with cheese, olive oil, and some herbs on top?

Any more ideas?

Simple baisc recipe for leftover is rather standard

fry whatever is leftover in a pan with a bit of butter or oil
add some new ingredient of choice
seems to work all the time

the mexicans have made a feature dish of this; heard of frijoles refritos?
(refried bieans) , I think they were leftover beans that were refried

Minestrone however, can be boiled over with new veggies and turned into a
fresh one every time, like pasta madre, it will carry a bit over
and become more tasty (so I heard)

I haven't seen any leftovers

I haven't seen any leftovers yet from the thursday's dinner. :) Anyways I'm sure nobody will throw food away easily.

Give it to the needy?

I wouldn't mind fetching a pre-owned dinner every once in a while - and would be willing to donate a little bit for it. Starting from today in fact - I'm grabbing something from the house soon, so save me some leftovers...

Yeah you can put anything in

Yeah you can put anything in an omelette or in a quiche (I know it's not vegan, though).

You can also make some tasty of salty cakes
(by mixing 1-2 eggs, some flour, a bit of milk (or soy milk) and a bit of butter (or oil) and adding the leftover vegetable for instance. It's also delicious with nuts, cheese, and some diced apples as well. A few herbs & spices on top of it...

Many different ingredients can be added to bread, also.

Nice pizzas,

New stews with a "leftover stew starter" which will make it extra tasty...

Make a soup out of the vegetable.

Make some chapati breads (water + flour) and fill them with the leftover foods

...

or just experiment ;)
