Does racial profiling amount to wrongful discrimination?

This is the essay title i am currently working on and in my research i have uncovered some horrifying facts. For example, sections 44 and 45 of the Terrorism Act 2000 allow police to stop and search individuals or vehicles "whether or not the constable has grounds for suspecting the presence of articles of that kind", here articles of that kind is defined as "articles of a kind which could be used in connection with terrorism" HA! What would they consider those to be?!

Yesterday was the first day this year that it has been warm enough for me to bare foot again. Spring is here! Summer is on its way and everything is bursting with a new lease of life.

I have now officially survived my first term as a law student and I have managed to come out the other end with all my principles still intact! Not only that but i have really enjoyed myself! I seem to have insatiable appetite for knowlege which is being fed with every new case i analyse.

There are so many new people to meet, i feel like i have the same conversaions almost everyday...

Random person (after a few minutes of mindless chatter): " so what course are you studying?

Me (smile inwardly but reply with a straight face): "Law."

Random person (looks very confused, notes my general appearence before finally clocking the lack of shoes): "Really? huh.....You don't look much like a law student...."

(awkward pause)

Random person: "can i just ask...where are your shoes?"

Hehehee.....
