i have a 6 week winter holiday in the near future (january 2010). so as a way to make use of time and grow and meet during that period i am thinking about starting a mini a creative residency for one month in my one bedroom apartment in kansas city. a place for 3-4 individuals to come create for a month free of rent and utilities. a place for sharing, learning, growing, making. a place for fun. however, i am looking for suggestions/recommendations on a way to find people (outside kansas city) that may be interested and who have the same willingness as i and those who will be joining us. it will be centered around creating in all realms (cooking, dancing, music, writing, art, and anything else involving the imagination). i thought of couchsurfing but am curious for other resources...
