    I am an open-minded, at times awkward, energetic and generally happy person. I love animals (I'm vegan), people and nature. There's nothing I love more than wandering about, with no certain destination in mind...
    I find it best to wander the city by foot, but I love cycling too. I enjoy spending time with my friends and meeting new people, sharing stories and laughing.

    I think community is one of the most important things humans can create for themselves. Through community we can share ideas and stories, and through these experiences, we allow ourselves to be more open and understanding. We can also become more self-reliant and inter-dependent, depending less and less on corporations or institutions which cause environmental degradation and exploit animals and humans.

    I am Jamie, I am from Merseyside, and I am 24. I finished my postgrad study recently and have been travelling for a while now. I have lived in squats and been involved with resisting kraakverbod. I was introduced to couch$urfing earlier this year but have been left disillusioned and pissed off by the decision to become a 'B' corporation (what is that about? if it has 'corporation' in it then its purpose is to make a profit and nothing more). And thats all I can think of right now.

    Troublesome question!

    I am a dreamer, a nomad, a vegan pizza maker, a hitch-hiker, both a day-sleeper and a hard worker, a language freak, a surfer of couches, a Jew's harp player, and everything else I'll happen to turn into on my way to Happiness.

    My girlfriend () and I are currently working on a script for a stop-motion film that will be hopefully ready by the time we'll get to Amsterdam (August 31st).
