In order to avoid downtime of this website (and others) I just ALTERed some MySQL TABLEs to use InnoDB. I also cleaned up some other TABLEs, such as the session table. So you will have to create a new session - or in normalpeoplespeak: log in again to this website.

It seemed to have had some effect. I'm seeing even fewer slow queries now. The server should *knock on wood* not go down that much anymore from now on...
