How did you find out about the Casa?:
There was this Romanian girl, Anca, who I met while hitchhiking in Italy, and she was stranded in Amsterdam, so I found a CouchSurfer she might stay with, who was this Dutch guy, Kasper, and he refered her to the Casa. A year later Anca and I went stayed in the Casa together for a few days, and everyone lived happily ever after.
Why do you want to stay in the Casa?:
To fix the Casa bicycles, of course! And maybe the bike system. To teach the fixing of bicycles, learn more of it myself, maybe learn some more Drupal while working on it for a good cause. And go dumpster diving.
[edited] Also, I'd love to talk to people about the hitchhiking gathering and work with Jeremie on maybe making one happen in the USA.
Mainly, though, I am hoping to cycle from Milano to Calais (and then to Amsterdam) in March/April, mapping, GPS-plotting, and photographing the mysterious EuroVelo route #5 ( http://www.ecf.com/3195_1 ). [edited] This may take me from March 18 to April 31, but I hope to arrive by April 20. So I originally put the start date for this request as April Fools Day... April Fools! [edited] Newest plan is Wednesday evening, the 21st. See you there!

I gasp with pleasure while dish washing

I dive into bins to make my face look pretty
I would like to go swimming in your lake balcony and drink its contents till it's all gone.
Cleaning out rotten food is quite orgasmic.

Re: the Windows, Mac, freedom question, I'm currently "exploring my freedom." At the moment I'm triple-booting Windows and two GNU/Linux distros (Debian, to learn stuff about linux, and simplyMEPIS, to easily work). I'm (finally) using Linux most of the time.
[edited] I wish Garmin GPSes were better supported under Linux. Such a pain...

looks great that site George! What else you can put up? Some more plugins and widgets? Status updates, etc. Have a look around at wordpress.com plugins to see what fits. There are also some tracking tools available so we can know where you are, etc.
