Birthday in Westerpark

Europe/Amsterdam

I'm turning young!
every year gets better and better, maybe is the awareness of things, maybe it's pure craziness.

Anyway, let's celebrate!

BBQ at the westerpark: the plan is to go there at 16:00 with some meat and veggies and start cooking.
if you have grill or BBQ, please bring it.
If you know how to play any instrument, let's have a jam session...
I'll try to come up with some other ideas, so get ready for participation....

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO:
- wake up before 3pm to be ready before night

- load yourself (and your friends) with some happy mood

- get ready to hug me

Food will be provided but if you want to bring something, go for the DRINKS!

Included in the event:

- animation with games like: acchiappa bandiera, mangia la mela, etc etc...

what a great day!

ok, so the bbq got cancelled, but what a NICE day it was... first the weather, the whole country was flooded with heavy rains, but none of them hit Amsterdam, on the radar you could see that Amsterdam was not affected for two days on a row, and you could see the clouds moving around the city. We even had sunshine once in a while.

So I took Valentina out for a bike-ride in the North, showed her some magical spots with wooden houses, lots of water and nice little terraces. You simply don't feel the city there anymore and it is like you entered another world.

Later at night, after a dinner at Kris, dancing in the okki, which was o.k. although we were tired. Nice to see some more of the casa crew arriving later in the night, and hearing that things were really cool at the house, that people were very much self-managing everything, that new connections are made all the time, regardless of who is here or not, somehow.

Sunday, some of us had a beautiful boat-experience. Nico picked us up for a 7 hour boat trip through the lakes and the canals. Wonderful (and we even swam in one of the lakes). We managed to also pick up some others who were either in the library or at the scub*, the squat/ public space behind the library, where people organised a DIY-weekend.

Great birthday weekend!
