This year the festival will give extra attention to the theme Mediteranea. The Mediteranea is a crossing of cultures and you can find this in the music from the area. what a shame I won't be

what a shame I won't be there!
Roy Paci and Aretuska are the Italian version of Manu Chao (so loved in the Casa), and they are great! They also played together, with Manu, during Genova G8 in 2003 (?).
Rooy Pacy mixes ska rhytms with Sicilian dialect, producing a unique sound which will force you to dance. The lyrics often speak about social injustice, Italian living conditions, migration, and love of course.
Highly recommended!
