The festival Geheugenhuis (all in Dutch sight!) will take place on 18 April 2009 at Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam. The main debates are about collective memory, cultural identity, the role of new technologies in shaping the process of remembering and forgetting.
My video-work on the theme of physical memories and the body as archive will be shown there at 19.00. There is a Vj/Dj session afterward.
The festival is not for free but I have a ticket left if someone wants to join.

I felt a lot of frustration cause the whole thing which seemed to be extremly interesting was in dutch.
Frustration is an excellent motor when you want to learn languages.
Also it's a pity those people where not able to display the work of Valentina properly
