Former Philadelphia police Captain Ray Lewis, who was arrested today in conjunction with the Occupy Wall Street protests in New York City.
This was after 5,000 books had been thrown out by NYPD in a raid on the people’s library and the Zuccotti Park camp, close to Wallstreet had been evicted, with a considerable amount of police violence at 2am on Tuesday morning.
“They’re trying to get me arrested and I may disappear OK?” Mr. Lewis said some hours before his arrest. “As soon as I’m let out of jail, I’ll be right back here and they’ll have to arrest me again.”
