Microsoft lawyers threatened Cryptome and its "printer", internet hosting provider giant Network Solutions, under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). The DMCA was designed to protect the legitimate rights of publishers, not to conceal scandalous internal documents that were never intended for sale.
