Open Source Center (OSC) geographers are the intelligence community’s experts on foreign mapping, geographic information and geospatial technologies. They combine skills in geography and allied disciplines (i.e., GIS, cartography, geology, remote sensing, photogrammetry, imagery analysis, urban planning, etc.) with area knowledge to review and assess all sources of geographic information in all its varied forms (paper, digital, internet, etc.).
