Free Dutch-for-beginners class starting on the 08/09/09!

8 Sep 2009 18:00
Europe/Amsterdam
Location:
public library or OBA near Central Station

I was there once last year on a few days trip here and I think it's really worth attending. Speaking Dutch might help if we think of extending the "Casa spirit" to the community around!

I'm going to copy and paste some of the description one can read on the couchsurfing webiste: (http://www.couchsurfing.org/group.html?gid=14862)

"AmsterDutch classes are totally free. Lessons take place once a week, either on Tuesday and Wednesday night, each day between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. and 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. You are free to choose for one of those time slots.

In AmsterDutch classes you will learn the skills of a normal conversation in Dutch in a group with a maximum of ten students and one teacher.

Am*DutchClasses started October of 2008. Bottom line: free leave-your-wallet-home lessons in return for disciplined and weekly attendance. We work with ‘De Delftse Methode’ books. Their method has proven to be one of the quickest ways to find your way in Dutch language.

Would you like to enroll? Be sure to send your request by email ([email protected]). Please also mention your expected level and a small motivational letter. Location as yet has been public library or OBA near Central Station, if this changes, we’ll make sure you hear about it. "

What do you think about it?
