Saturday June 6, 2009 from 14.00 till 22.00 in Rembrandtpark (Amsterdam)

Black Star Foundation office is housed in the area 'De Baarsjes', in Amsterdam West. And De Baarjes are in for a party! For the 8th time, they will organise the June Art Month. For one month, every weekend and on Wednesdays, everyone in Amsterdam can enjoy art and culture in De Baarsjes. Come and look, listen and participate.

On Saturday June 6, the opening of the June Art Month will take place in the Rembrandtpark: Party in the Park!

Programm daytime:

bewelcome. Come at 1600 to dumpster dive or at 1900 to help cooking. we'll also be making t-shirts today so bring one or more with you to have a great print on it. This time also with camera's from

Dumpster dive at 16:00, preparing food at 19:00 and dinner starts between 22:00 and 23:00

Me and my classmate Dimitra, worked on a film program that will be screened at the Smart project Space in Amsterdam. The event is FREE OF CHARGE and we are trying to put together enough audience to have a nice debate with the filmmakers who will participate to the screening (so far confirmed Antonio Guzman, Omid Pourhashemi).

every year gets better and better, maybe is the awareness of things, maybe it's pure craziness.

Anyway, let's celebrate!

BBQ at the westerpark: the plan is to go there at 16:00 with some meat and veggies and start cooking.
if you have grill or BBQ, please bring it.
If you know how to play any instrument, let's have a jam session...
I'll try to come up with some other ideas, so get ready for participation....
